On March 21, the launch ceremony for the 2023 Diplomatic Envoys' "Discover China Journey" was held in Beijing. Hu Heping, Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, and 73 diplomats from 49 countries attended the event. The "Discover China Journey" for diplomatic envoys is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Since its inception in 2021, more than 140 diplomats from 68 countries have participated. This year's event is co-organized by the Beijing Municipality and some provincial and municipal culture and tourism departments (bureaus), with active participation from institutions such as the World Tourism Alliance, China Travel Group, China Poly Group, Bank of China, the Palace Museum, and BOE EWIN, further expanding the event's influence.

All the table signs at the meeting site were electronic, enhancing the efficiency of the meeting arrangement through digital means while highlighting the concept of a low-carbon and environmentally friendly event.
